City Centre

In the heart of Leeds city centre is a series of Grade II listed Victorian arcades which house both the big brands like Louis Vuitton and Harvey Nichols, as well as a collection of smaller independent shops. Kirkgate and Briggate are the oldest streets in Leeds, and together with the other wide paved streets of this part of the city, are filled with restaurants and shops, including the historic Kirkgate Market which is home to a community of independent vendors. Other shopping centres include the Corn Exchange market and two recently built indoor malls - the Trinity Centre and Victoria Gate. Greek Street, with its numerous restaurants and bars, is one of the best places to go out in Leeds.
