Our People

We have a team of people on site 24 hours a day at Leodis Square who you’ll get to know when you live here. You can mostly find them on the ground floor where they’re always around to answer a question, lend a hand or just have a chat.

Brenda Troup

I am the General Manager here at Leodis Square. My job here is to makesure everything is under control, from making sure the apartments are clean and tidy, looking after enquiries and payments, training members of the team, to helping to run an event. I need to wear a lot of different hats!

I previously managed another Dandara Living development in Aberdeen called The Point and I have family here in Leeds so was very happy to make the move to Leodis Square when the opportunity came up.

Leeds is a very friendly place and people are rightly very proud of their city because it has everything you need. There are so many amazing independent shops, bars and restaurants to discover, and Kirkgate Market sells everything you could imagine, with an Asian Bazaar every Wednesday and a farmers’ market twice a month. The Trinity Shopping Centre is also great for for high street brands.

When I’m not working I enjoy cycling and walking. There are some great walks around the city and suburbs, and more testing hikes out in the Yorkshire countryside – the beauty is you don’t have to go far to feel away from it all.

Tim Godlington

I’m the Facilities & Estate Manager for Leodis Square in Leeds. So that means that as well as doing the general maintenance of the building, I oversee the moving in and out process for the residents.

This is my first time working in a residential building, I’ve worked in construction before, so lots of things are quite new for me, but there are some similarities as I’m dealing with subcontractors most days and the engineers in my own team.

I love working with my team, it’s a real family vibe. I also love that no two days are the same which keeps things exciting!

I live 20 minutes drive away from the development, just outside Leeds city centre. It’s such a great area, it’s got fantastic shopping, restaurants and night-life. I love going with the family for a spot of shopping and then checking out either Blue Sakura and Issho, some of the best Japanese restaurants in Leeds.

Apart from that, I spend loads of time going for walks with my dog and, if we’re feeling brave, we might even do some cold water swimming, find a waterfall and jump in it!
